NA COTTAGE

Il progetto consiste nella costruzione di un piccolo cottage di circa 50 mq di superficie chiusa ed 80 mq di superfice coperta. L'intervento si configura come una demolizione e ricostruzione di un magazzino esistente. Le distanze minime dai confini hanno permesso lo sviluppo nella sola direzione frontale. A causa di un terreno con forte ristagno d'acqua si è scelto di sollevare completamente l'edificio annullando sia la platea in cemento armato sia i lavori di movimento terra. L' edificio tocca terra solo in corrispondenza dei pali ed è costruito con un sistema totalmente a secco. La struttura è in acciaio con solai a travi di legno e tamponamenti in materiali leggeri. Le pareti sono inoltre ventilate poichè rivestite con una pelle in legno creando così una intercapedine ventilata che abbatte le alte temperature estive ed ombreggia le pareti. Planimetricamente è organizzato in uno spazio principale ed uno secondario adibito a servizi. Il tetto si trasforma in frangisole sul portico rivolto a Sud-Est.
The project consists in the construction of a small cottage about 50 sqm of closed surface and 80 sqm of covered surface. The intervention is configured as a demolition and reconstruction of an existing warehouse. The minimum distances from the borders allowed the development in the frontal direction alone. Due to a land with a strong stagnation of water, it was decided to lift the building completely by cancelling both the platform reinforced concrete and the earthmoving works. The building touches the ground only in correspondence with the Pole and is built with a totally dry system. The structure is made of steel with wooden beam floor and walls in light materials. The walls are also ventilated because they are covered with a wooden skin creating a ventilated cavity that reduces the high summer temperatures and shadows the walls. The plan is organized in a main space and a secondary one used for services. The roof is transformed into sunscreens on the portico facing southeast.
